Thomas Kinkade certainly looks like he has a passion for lighthouses! Ask any lighthouse collector if he/she has one of these collectibles, and you will probably be told that not only does he/she have one Thomas Kinkade lighthouse, but actually has several!
The Thomas Kinkade lighthouses are sometimes single standing lighthouses, but often they are included in seaside scenes. And, since Thomas Kinkade is known as the “painter of lights” it would only be fitting for some of the his lighthouses to actually light up!
Kinkade not only has collectible figurines that feature lighthouses, but also many of his paintings have lighthouses in them. Some of the lighthouses he has painted appear on very rocky cliffs but also give the appearance of a relatively safe harbor, while others are displayed as brilliant beacons of light high above the midst of raging and clashing waves.
