Thomas Kinkade has always been fascinated with the magic and fantasy of Walt Disney. When he was invited in 2005 to set up his easel for Disneyland’s 20th Anniversary, he jumped at the chance to capture the wonder of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. The following year, celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Disney World, he painted A New Day at the Cinderella Castle.
In 2008 he partnered with Disney again with Snow White Discovers the Cottage which was the first of many in his Thomas Kinkade’s landmark Timeless Disney Moments Collection. Disney Dreams Collection are paintings of Disney classic movies. A new collection called Disney Discoveries Collection includes paintings of new movie releases.
The idea behind the paintings of Thomas Kinkade is to tell the whole story in just one image. His hope for everyone who sees his paintings is that they will have all their dreams come true. Disney and Kinkade are truly magical together.
