Norman Rockwell prints that have been signed (and this is simply stating the obvious!) are very much sought after by collectors. Signed, however, can mean two different things.
Some Norman Rockwell signed prints were actually signed by Norman Rockwell, with a pencil. He would sign these prints on the bottom right margin of the print with a 20ber on the bottom left side.
After Norman Rockwell died, some of his prints were published and “signed” by using a plate signature. These plate-signed prints are also highly valued by Norman Rockwell collectors.
