Miss Martha Originals is a Christian based fine collectible company. It started in 1980 with a simple pledge from Miss Martha to her pastor. She wanted to pledge $800 dollars to help repair her church. She didn’t know how, but she knew that it was what God wanted her to do. Miss Martha Originals were born.
She started making patterns to sell. Then in 1985, she began sculpting a series called “All God’s Children.” In 1989 Miss Martha introduced a historical series of figurines. She wanted to educate and to raise the awareness of all the African Americans who made an impact on this great nation.
Each figurine tells an important story. There are figurines of Bessie Coleman, George Washington Carver, Sojourner Truth, and many more.
