Limoges porcelain has been produced for over two centuries. Pieces are known for their elegant look and continually increase in value. Charger plates are becoming more sought after and are found with floral designs, beautiful landscape scenes,animals (like birds, dogs, and fish), and many other designs.
Although some people use these beautiful chargers (which are sometimes referred to as cake plates or platters), they really are used more as decorative collectibles to enhance a home. The Limoges Chargers are larger (and sometimes more decorative) than a standard size plate.
