Heartwood Creek by Jim Shore is a wonderful example of affordable, fine decorative collectibles. Shore uses his passion and knowledge of the American craft of quilting in each of his decorative collectible pieces of art.
Jim Shore sketches, sculpts, and paints his new creations until they are exactly how he envisions them. Once he feels that the particular item is perfect, the molds are made and the figurines are produced. Each of the stone resin figurines is then hand-painted by artisans.
Jim Shore partnered with Enesco so that he could work on creating his pieces of art while Enesco could take care of the rest of the work involved in the process. Lucky for us – since it leaves Shore with more time to create his beautiful decorative accents!
