Hallmark introduced their Lionel locomotive ornament train line back in 1996. This series of ornaments continues to this day, and is extremely popular in the collectors’ market. Each year the collection of holiday ornaments changes depending upon the train that Hallmark has chosen to replicate. The Hallmark Lionel series also includes Blown Glass ornament, as well as a Colorway ornaments to compliment the series.
Lionel trains are commonly known for being highly collectible, and the Hallmark Lionel ornaments are no exception. The value of each ornament is dependent upon several factors such as how many were manufactured and how popular they are to collectors.
