The Hallmark Father Christmas series is a classic depiction of Father Christmas. Hallmark began this series in 2004. Each year a new Hallmark Father Christmas figurine in offered to the public. The series has an annual theme and a scroll is always with Father Christmas with a special message. He wears a different outfit and has various accessories each year.
The first year the message was joy. The series had several depictions of Father Christmas for each year. Some of them are common while others are hard to find. As with all collectibles, the rare pieces are difficult to find, and are considered to be great finds when they are. This is one of the newer Hallmark collections and is a great place to get in at the very beginning of a historic collectors series.
