The Hallmark Beauty of Birds ornament series began in 2005. Each of these birds was designed by Edythe Kegrize and all were sculpted by LaDene Votruba. The first bird in the series was the Northern Cardinal, and the most recent additions in 2010 were the Lady Cardinal and the Eastern Bluebird. In 2011, the Lady Oriole, the Baltimore Oriole, and the Scarlet Tanager were more additions to the Hallmark Beauty of Birds collection.

Also in the Hallmark Beauty of Birds series you will find the highly detailed Black-capped Chickadee and the third in the series, the Blue Jay. The Blue Jay was released in 2007 and was highly prized for it’s color, and because there were no Blue Jays in previous collections. The Blue Jay was followed by the lovely addition of the Goldfinch in 2008 and the Red Headed Woodpecker in 2009.
