Ever since 1878, the White House has hosted an event called the White House Easter Egg Roll. This is the only event at the White House where it is possible to walk across the South Lawn.
Every year, the White House also releases a commemorative White House Easter Egg for a very limited time. These eggs will someday be very valuable, so if you own one, be sure to hold on to it and pass it down to your children. They will appreciate it.
While not as fun as the White House Easter Egg Roll, the commemorative eggs are quite beautiful, and add to the decor of any formal room. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all of us could attend one of these White House events, then afterwards get the egg to remember the day by?
