Irving Berlin made the Easter Parade movie in 1948. This movie stared Fred Astaire and Judy Garland. Also in the movie were Peter Lawford and Ann Miller. Charles Walters was the director of the Easter Parade.
MGM was the company responsible for bringing this wonderful movie to us. This musical centers on the dancing talent of Fred Astaire who plays dancer, who is dropped by his dancing partner, and has to come up with a substitute partner to dance with him. He vows to find one before the next Easter Parade. He (Fred Astaire) finds and trains a new partner (Judy Garland), who is forced to quickly learn how to be a great entertainer.
Like many of the movies from the 1940s, Easter Parade is full of beautiful dancing, music, costumes, sets, and acting!
